India Georgia Cultural Festival 2024

🌈✨The NGO Cultural Diversity for Peaceful Future, in collaboration with BEST Innovation University, organized the India-Georgia Cultural Festival 2024, a five-day event that brought together nearly 60 Georgian and Indian artists, scholars, leaders, thought-leaders, and administrators. The festival aimed to deepen cultural ties between the two countries and featured diverse discussions on various avenues of cultural collaboration.

The inauguration of the festival included the auspicious lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the unity of diverse cultures. Georgia's New Bana's Choir delivered a stirring rendition of Bharat’s National Anthem, Jana Gana Mana. Dr. Ram Madhav ji, the President of the India Foundation, emphasized the significance of cultural festivals in showcasing the unity of cultures. He expressed the view that such events should be organized frequently with different nations, echoing the concept of "the world is one family."


Distinguished guests, including Smt. Anju Ranjan, Sri. K.D.Dewal, Dr. T Suresh Babu, Smt. Rami Desai, Prof. David Janelidze, Prof. Marina Vasadze, and others, shared valuable insights, enriching the occasion with global expertise.


The 75th Republic Day was celebrated at BESTIU campus in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh Tourism and Culture Department and NGO Cultural Diversity for Peaceful Future Georgia. The event featured a march past by BEST Innovation University students and cultural performances, including theatrical presentations, folk dances, and musical performances. Enchanting Indian traditional Kuchpudi and folk dances, along with performances by Georgian artists, added to the cultural fervor.


As part of the India-Georgia Cultural Festival 2024, Georgian artists performed at Mysore Fest, inaugurated by Mr. H.C. Mahadevappa. The cultural carnival showcased a vibrant platform for locals and visitors to revel in the city's heritage. The Georgian Delegation also visited iconic locations such as the Mysore Palace, Bannerghatta Biological Park, and The Veerabhadra Temple, Lepakshi, creating memorable experiences and deepening cultural exchange between the two nations.
